There are no formal examinations, giving students more opportunities to concentrate on their assignments, and their own self-exploration throughout their journey. On successful completion of year 3 of your degree, you will be awarded with your PCI College Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is currently the requirement for working towards your professional accreditation.  However with new government regulations pending for accrediting bodies, the degree programme has been the choice of many students to ensure they are meeting future requirements by qualifying with a level 8 (NFQ) honours degree.

All PCI College lecturers are highly qualified, experienced individuals who hold a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and are practising Counsellors accredited with the IACP. Many hold MSc.s in specialist fields, students are supported through the degree programmes by our Core Tutors, making this a truly unique adult education experience.
