Learners will understand the following after successful completion of the course
- Be capable of carrying out basic engine maintenance
- Be familiar with mower controls, gauges and be capable of preparing a mower for use
- Be capable of inspecting and cleaning down a mower after use, with appropriate disposal of waste products
- Be able to set mower cutting units for use
