The area of youth studies is now recognised as a professional discipline in itself with many new areas of speciality developing. Whether working with disadvantaged youth or those at risk from anorexia or bulimia, the opportunities and rewards in working in this area are immense.
The programme will give participants the skills, knowledge and attitude to work within this discipline and to become competent professionals when entering the world of work. The programme will offer a hands on approach and will be highly interactive in its nature. The degree is accredited by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council of Ireland and as part of the National Framework of Qualifications is recognised by both the statutory, community and business sectors. |
