Description
Following this course, you will understand like Maria Montessori understood, that children naturally absorb the work around them and that they blossom in self confidence and self discipline when they are allowed to follow their innate needs.
This course is delivered over 1 academic year. Classes are split between practical and theory training. Students are also required to complete a work experience programme during this course.
Upon successful completion of the course students will be awarded;
- Portobello School Diploma in Montessori Teaching 3-6 years.
- FETAC Level 6 Component Certificates in the following modules;
* Educational Philosophy
* Practiacal Life
* Sensorial Materials
* Language
* Mathematics
* Culture
- FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Child Development
- FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Special Needs Education.
