This course is broad based and an emphasis is placed on engineering fundamentals throughout. This allows graduates to enter diverse areas such as design, manufacturing, maintenance, research/development and consultancy. The new modularised structure involves a mixture of continuous assessment and a series of semesterised examinations. It is also proposed to introduce a mandatory work experience module into third year of the programme. |
