Course Aims, Length and Entry Aims:
The course is designed to help people to improve their key leadership and management skills so that they can perform better themselves and help to improve the performance of those who report to them. Duration: The course is run for 3.5 hours one evening per week for 2 weeks; or over one day.
Entry:
The Institute of Leadership and Management ILM operates an ‘Open Entry’ policy but prospective participants should be able to apply what they learn on the course in an organisational setting (need not be in a job).
Certification:
There are no examination with participants instead completing and assignment which is assessed. On successful completion of the assignment participants receive their Unit Certificate from the ILM/City & Guilds. This is equivalent to a Fetac Level 5 Minor Award.
