plc courses - social welfare payments

I completed a F.I.T course in database and warehousing in 2008 and have since completed a 3 year diploma in IT management. I am wondering if I can do another level 5 plc course in healthcare and keep my social welfare payments?

To get Jobseeker's Allowance you must:

- Be unemployed
- Be over 18 and under 66 years of age
- Be capable of work
- Be available for and genuinely seeking work (so full time students do not qualify)
- Satisfy the means test
- Meet the Habitual Residence Condition

Depending on the persons circumstances they may be eligible for back to education allowance, further information available on www.citizensinformation.ie
