Animal welfare through distance learning

I have secured a qualification as a Veterinary Nurse from St. John's Central College in Cork City (FETAC Level 6) I would like to do a degree in Animal Welfare but I am not in a position to travel. I am looking for a distance learning course that would lead to a dregee in Animal Welfare. Anyone got any ideas where to look???? Thank you
Brendan

Hi Brendan, I am not aware of any courses like this on offer through distance learning. The best thing is to contact the universities and enquire if there is anything like this available as a lot of them offer distance learning options which are not widely advertised. The School of Veterinary Medicine in ucd ( http://www.ucd.ie/vetmed/ ) may also be able to help point you in the right direction.. best of luck!

Hi Brendansixsix  (my six button doesn't work!)
I am just wondering if you found an animal welfare degree online, as I am in the same position as yourself, and also wish to do an animal welfare degree  I also live in Co. Cork. Cathy
