Third level course in Performing Arts

I would like to do a third level course in Performing Arts. I am hoping to set up my own academy in the future.

You can study performing arts in a number of colleges – both private and public.

The Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts from Dkit is an example of a course that is going to give you the skills required to become a professional in this area.  The Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts is a three-year full-time professional actor training programme which encourages students to become ‘intelligent actors’, who are versatile and adaptable, equipped with a variety of performance and transferable work skills.

The graduates of this course have a number of Career Options open to them, including: Performance -Theatre, Film, Radio, Television, Community Drama, Theatre in Education, Workshop leader/facilitator - community or business based, Education - Drama, Dance or Movement at a primary level, Self-Employment - Arts consultancy, teaching, voice or movement coaching, Cultural Tourism and Festival/Event Management.

Applicants, along with the points/minimum requirements are also required to pass a competitive audition process.
