Question Title Seek - Online Courses
online coursesSEEK Academy, the Irish company that brought you Tiger Kidnap Awareness Training is pleased to announce the release of two new on-line courses for the Security & Leisure Industry. SEEK Academy aim to stay true to its mission to become the leading training company for the Security Industry worldwide with the release of:
1.Sports Stadium Steward Fetac Level 5 Programme for the Irish market
2.National Certificate for Door Supervisors (UK)

Both courses are delivered on-line through the SEEK Academy website and anyone wishing to avail of this training need simply register their details with SEEK Academy, pay the course subscription and then login to the course material at a time and place of their chosing to complete this training. This method of training can reduce the costs of training by up to 50%, increases the consistency of training delivery and cover a greater number of learners than traditional models of training that are tied to the size of the classroom.

SEEK Academy feels that both these releases will be well received and generate as much interest as their Tiger Kidnap Awareness Course which was release a few week ago. This proves how quickly the SEEK Academy team can respond to a training need in the market through a streamlined process of course design, development, testing and release.

With recent announcements concerning the delivery of courses to the unemployed in Ireland, SEEK Academy feels it has a major role to play here in present a more affordable model for the delivery of training than has traditionally been provided in Ireland. SEEK Academy offer cost effective solutions to current skills shortages in Ireland and aim to develop new courses to address these areas also.

Sean Griffin, Startegic Partner at SEEK Academy feels that “SEEK Academy is well positioned to make a massive difference to training budgets in Ireland. It’s one thing to say you can save 50% but it sounds even better to say you can train twice as much for the same money in half the time.”

Under the Private Security Industry Act 2001, all Door Dupervisors must hold a licence to practise. This nationally recognised qualification is the industry standard and enables a Door Supervisor to apply for a licence to practise. The National Certificate for Door Supervisors (UK) is designed for those who wish to work in the industry; and is awarded to those who pass two examinations covering the basic knowledge and responsibilities of the occupation. For indidiuals that feel they may need to travel to the UK to find work, the National Certificate for Door Supervisors (UK) us a training course that will enable you to apply for the relevant UK license to practise and you can complete the training online, in the comfort of your own home in Ireland.
