Gaelchultúr, the Irish language training and consultancy company, is
challenging people to learn more than a cúpla focal this autumn in one
of their many Irish courses around Ireland. From Letterkenny to Cork,
Gaelchultúr provide Irish language evening classes that are fun and
engaging and will begin between 21-24 September 2009.
Gaelchultúr
is offering classes at eight different levels in Dublin and at three or
four levels in most of the other venues throughout the country.
Learners will attend a two-hour class, one night a week for twelve
weeks, and the course fee is €240.
“These classes are a great
way to improve your cúpla focal,” says Sara-Jane Ní Ghabhann from
Gaelchultúr, “or to learn the language from scratch. In recent years,
there has been a big increase in the number of people learning Irish
around the country. There’s no doubt that people’s attitude towards the
language is changing and many are returning to it again. Gaelchultúr is
providing stimulating and fun classes throughout Ireland to meet this
demand. Practical, everyday language is taught in a friendly and
relaxed atmosphere.”
Gaelchultúr has been running training
courses in public sector bodies for the past four years and the company
is involved in the MA in Applied Irish being offered by the School of
Languages in DIT since last year. Gaelchultúr has also developed an
e-learning website, ranganna.com, and a new course at lower
intermediate level will be launched on that site later this month.
Those
interested in attending Gaelchultúr’s autumn course can reserve a place
online at www.gaelchultur.com. As places are limited, early booking is
advisable. An online placement test is available at www.gaelchultur.com
to help those who are unsure what level they’re at choose the correct
