The Diploma in Event Management will commence on Tuesday, 07 February 2012, 18.30-21.30 and is 14 weeks in duration. Classes are held once a week, off dame street, Dublin 2, on Tuesday evenings (6.30pm-9.30pm). Course also offered by Distance learning.
CMI have been delivering Event Management courses since 2004 and bring you over 40 years of combined event management experience from our qualified event industry lecturers. Many past students now successfully work in event management, festival organising, wedding planning, and conference management. The course is designed for newcomers to the events industry.
The Diploma in Event Management qualification is awarded by CMI and successful students will also receive a FETAC level 6 national award in Event Management.
CMI was the first Education Provider in Ireland to offer an Event Management qualification to Advanced Diploma level. Students can progress to do the Advanced Diploma in Event Management by doing an additional 10 weeks. This covers important additional areas such as Risk management, Event Financial Management and Project management.
