The International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) is based in London and is an internationally recognised awarding body offering vocational qualifications in beauty, complementary and sports therapy. The course is very practical with sixty per cent of the class time devoted to massage techniques. Students will learn a full range of techniques enabling them to give holistic massage, relaxation treatments and sports massages.
The theory modules include anatomy and physiology of the body's major systems as well as the core subjects of professional ethics, client care, practice management, business procedures, hygiene and safety. Motions offers the course in Palmerstown Sports Complex on Wednesday nights (7-10pm). |
