The BA (Ordinary) in Visual Merchandising and Display will prepare graduates for a career as Visual Merchandisers and Retail Display Designers in the Irish and international retail industry. Merchandising is a key element in any successful retail industry and this new programme will have a vital role to play in making sure that there is steady supply of suitably qualified graduates who can help Irish retail companies develop this aspect of their business. The graduates of this programme will demonstrate a mastery of the theory and strategies of visual merchandising, a practical competence in the skills relevant to retail display, an understanding of brand image and consumer behaviour and will be able to operate at a high level in the retail industry.
