The Certificate and Diploma in Community Development Practice are part-time programmes, designed to enable community activists gain a thorough understanding of community development combined with the practical skills necessary to work effectively in development work. Students completing the Certificate programme study three modules (15 ECTS) and students completing the Diploma programme study six modules (30 ECTS) and complete a project. The Community Development Practice programmes are suitable for participants who are actively involved in community development work and who wish to obtain a formal qualification in this area. The Certificate one year course is €200 and the Diploma 2 year course is €350 subject to yearly review. |
