Accredited Special Purpose Award - 10 ECTS
Sport psychology is the study of the human mind and human behaviour in the world of sport. The Certificate in Sport Psychology aims to provide graduates with a basic understanding of how humans perform and behave in a sport setting.
The programme will focus on how psychological principles are applied to aid performance in sport. The programme material will be delivered through seminars, discussions, group work, practical exercises and personal reflections. Upon completion, you will understand the field of sport psychology and its uses to help athletes perform at their best, both in sport and in other performance-related settings (such as in work, and study settings). Upon completion of the programme you should be able to apply the knowledge acquired to your own life-roles (i.e., as athletes, coaches and parents of athletes).
Application is directly to IADT. Application deadline is in late August annually.
