The FETAC Certificate in Childcare Level 5 is a requirement for childcare staff under the Government’s Early Care and Childhood (ECCE) scheme. This part-time course is designed to prepare students to work in a supervised role, competently, safely and effectively with children aged 0 to 6 years. The course is designed to emphasise the integrated nature of work with young children. It is also structured to provide graduates with the opportunity to progress to specialised courses in higher education. There are 8 modules in total. Each module is run over 6 weeks. The next module Arts & Craft in Childcare is starting on the 11th of February 2012. |
