As a student of marketing, you will gain a comprehensive grounding in all areas of management and enterprise, but with an emphasis on marketing. Management, business law, economics, operations management, organisational behaviour, leadership, human resources, innovation management – these are just some of the broad range of topics you will study, preparing you for entry into multiple avenues of business. You will also study marketing topics in detail, including online marketing and social media.
The broad sweep of this course means you won't be limited by choosing a specialty too early on, while giving you a solid foundation in each of the many areas that make up business life. You will learn to think analytically and to communicate effectively. You will also gain insight into the latest research in various fields of business and acquire skills directly relevant to the practice of management.
On completion of the degree students will have gained an excellent foundation in leadership and the management of organisations, as well as in the marketing principles that govern modern businesses.
