Health & Leisure Studies is the study of:
* activity leadership; health promotion; spa and wellness;
* applied anatomy and physiology;
* massage techniques and related theory.
The course has a significant practical dimension that students find challenging but very attractive. End of year results are determined through a combination of coursework, projects, practical assessments and final end of year exams. Students entering the third year of the course will choose to specialise in either Wellness, Health Promotion, Adapted Physical Activity, Physical Education or Fitness Professional disciplines. |
