The Bachelor of Business in Management is a three year Ordinary Degree awarded by the Higher Education Training and Awards Council and is set at Level 7 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications.The Degree programme is divided into two stages. The first two years will provide the learner with a sophisticated, theoretical and practical knowledge of the core business functions and organisational operating environment. On successful completion of the first two years learners will be awarded a Higher Certificate in Business in Management and will be eligible to proceed to the final degree awarding year.
The final year of the Degree programme provides the learner with a more specialised, focused and practical knowledge of the requirements of management within an organisation in today’s dynamic business environment. The modules develop the traditional concepts of management but are placed in the context of modern business with an emphasis on the entrepreneurial manager.
